Electrified vehicles will put a smile on your face not just because of their zero emissions, but also because the high torque means the car sets off like a shot. This is possible because electric motors deliver 100% of torque from just above 0 RPM. The result? Great dynamics and a joy to drive, every time.

The operation of an electrified vehicle generates much lower CO₂ and other emissions. The SUPERB iV with a system output of 160 kW, for example, produces less than 33 g of CO₂ emissions per kilometre. What’s more, electric cars don’t emit any emissions at the point of operation – they do not have any exhaust gases.

Unlike conventional cars, electric vehicles such as the ENYAQ iV completely lack one of the most complicated and maintenance-intensive parts: the internal combustion engine itself. Nor is there any complex multi-speed transmission or other parts requiring regular maintenance. Instead, they use maintenance-free, one-speed gearboxes. Overall, electric cars are much less maintenance-intensive.
